The Girls Varsity Soccer team started the season on a positive note with wins over Bethpage (2-0) and North Shore (3-2 in overtime).

Led by captains Danielle Cama, Elena O'Brien, Stephanie Lucia and Jen D'Albenzio, the Lady Dawgs are excited about the upcoming season.

As we all attempt to overcome (and we will) the devastation of the Twin Towers, the Lady Bulldogs have dedicated their season to all of us whose lives were affected by this tragedy: Kate Beale, Gina Brewer, Danielle Cama, Megan Carlson, Erin Carroll, Jen D'Albenzio, Erin Dodge, Alyssa Fleming, Teresa Grassi, Liz Liguori, Stephanie Lucia, Chelsea Marciano, Elena O'Brien, Jessica Ostrowski, Dana Rinaldi, Kaitlyn Schamberger, Kerianne Spiess, Jamie Zetterberg.

The Boys Island Trees Varsity Soccer team has gotten off to a great start with an impressive second-place finish in the Syosset Fall Classic Tournament. The Bulldogs faced number one seed Jericho and defeated them 1-0, but fell to Syosset in the final. The Bulldogs also started their league schedule with a tough win over last year's county champs, Manhasset, 2-1. This year's team is led by seniors Matt Ostrowski, Peter Kostaras, Chris O'Brien, Julio Barea, Joe Swicicki, Mike Thompson, A.J. Latuputty, Mike Santor and Josh Chacon. This year's juniors are Peter Ruff, Joe McCauley, Peter McAllister, Brian Chase and Josue Medina. Rounding out the roster are sophomores Mike Garger and Joe Librizzi and freshman Christian Salvage.
