South Shore Indians Capture Two Championships
The South Shore Indians 11-year-old baseball team completed their 2nd year of existence with an incredible run culminating in two tournament championships. The boys competed in the most difficult league available to them, the Federation Armature Baseball League, which is comprised of travel teams from all over Long Island. During regular season play, the boys tied for first place in the spring and took second in the summer session. Rather than defend their FABL title, the team opted to participate in the extremely challenging Nick Lamingello Tournament in Queens which pits some of the best teams from Long Island and Queens, and the annual Plainedge Tournament that many of the boys won as 8 year olds.
