The Levittown School District will begin the 2001-2002 school year on Sept. 4 with a delayed opening of 1 1/2 hours. High schools, grades 9 through 12, and middle schools, grades six through eight, will begin at 9:07 a.m. Elementary schools, grades one through five, will begin at 10:22 a.m. Morning kindergarten will begin at 10:22 a.m. and end at 12:22 p.m.

Bus pick up for grades 1 through 12 and morning kindergarten will be approximately 1 1/2 hours after scheduled time.

Afternoon kindergarten will begin at 1:10 p.m. and end at 3:10 p.m.

Bus pick up for afternoon kindergarten will be approximately 40 minutes after normal pick up time.

Regular School Hours are:

Kindergarten AM: 8:52 to 11:40 a.m.

Kindergarten PM: 12:20 to 3:10 p.m.

Elementary Schools: 8:52 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.

Middle Schools: 7:37 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.

High Schools: 7:37 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.

Zero Period High Schools: 7 a.m.
