The Levittown Police Athletic League's fall bowling session gets underway on Friday, Sept. 21 at 4 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at South Levittown Lanes. Children are invited to register for both programs at South Levittown Lanes anytime between now and the start dates. There is a $25 registration fee, which pays PAL insurance, YABA (Young American Bowling Alliance) Sanctioning, a PAL tee shirt, a Christmas and end of season party with gifts galore, participation awards for everyone and trophies for top place teams. The registration fee is reduced to $20 for a second child or more from the same family. There are limited openings in both programs so pre-registration is recommended. Programs are available for children from ages four and up.
The PAL's "Teen Bowling" starts on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. This too is a very popular program and pre-registration is strongly suggested.
The Levittown/Island Trees Youth Council's Fall Bowling Program, hosted by both North and South Levittown Lanes, announces the start of their second season beginning Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 4 p.m. at South Levittown Lanes and on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 4 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 6 at 10:30 a.m. at North Levittown Lanes. Coming off a very successful first season, it is expected that participation will increase this fall.
Each of the Levittown/Island Trees Youth Council's programs is two games and each provides for participation awards for everyone and trophies to top place teams. There is no registration fee, therefore children may pre-register by calling 735-3900 or North Levittown Lanes at 731-5700 to reach South Levittown Lanes. Residents may also register in person at any time.
