The third annual golf classic, sponsored by the Levittown Diamond Club, will take place at the Hamlet Wind Watch Golf Club in Hauppauge on Monday, Aug. 6.

A fee of $140 per person includes a continental breakfast, golf and cart, sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, snacks, soda and beer on the course, three-hour open bar (which also includes liquor, draft beer, wine and soda), a barbecue after golf (London Broil and chicken), giveaways and trophies.

Residents are welcome to put their own groups together and women and singles are always welcome. For information call Glenn Darcy at 731-2032. There will be a 6:30 a.m. sign-in followed by breakfast. Tee time is at 7:30 a.m. There will be a shotgun start. Residents receive $25 off their fee for every sponsor recruited. Sponsors recruited must put their names on their sponsorship form so the club can be sure to give proper discounts.
