The 2001-2002 school budget has been defeated by 43 votes and is scheduled for a revote on June 6.

If the budget was passed by 43 votes no revote would be requested.

Is this school board taking a page from the national election where we vote until the desired results are achieved? A one-time vote should be enough and not go through the expense of a revote on the same budget or issue. Revotes pass because the dates and schedules are not advertised as well as the first vote.
