After a sluggish start, the 8th grade Lady Bulldogs delivered on their promise to play hard and powered their way to a 32-24 victory over Mattlin Middle School in a road contest. Mattlin could not deal with the physical presence of Grace Vinberg as they repeatedly fouled her sending Grace to the line 13 times, resulting in 7 points. Gina Brewer and Colleen Fenton broke the Mattlin press easily and scored 7 and 5 points respectively. Kate Beale scored 4, as did Megan Carlson. The girls went to the foul line 32 times hitting 14 for just under 50 percent. This is the fifth victory for a very hard-working team.
