This season the girls varsity and junior varsity basketball teams at Division Avenue High School ran a free-throw shooting fund raiser for the basketball program and to raise money for cancer care. The Lady Dragons were so successful with this fund raiser that they were able to donate $1,000 to Mercy Hospice in Uniondale. Mercy Hospice helps with the care of terminally ill patients.

Junior Varsity Players are: Lisa Alberti, Lauren Bengyak, Kaitlin Cooley, Amanda Ferretti, Jenna Goldman, Heather Hartley, Liz Joyce, Lauren Lepis, Jessica Matarrese, Meghan Moran, Jessica Rosemann, and Lisa Uschakow.
