Eric William Lomnicki died suddenly at age 27 on Feb. 3, 2001. Adored son of William and Nancy Lomnicki. Beloved brother of Loriann Lomnicki-Gross and Diana Lomnicki. A wake was held at O'Sheas in Wantagh on Feb. 5 and Eric's ashes were taken out to sea at Gilgo Beach by his surfing friend, Brian Beehler, while family and many friends looked on and scattered rose petals on the shore. Sister of the late Philip Heron, former owner of Flowers by Phil in Levittown. Also survived by her nephew, John Heron and her sister-in-law Marcella Heron.
