Dr. Jacklyn Nogan (right) hands over a gift for Santa to give to one of the boys in the afternoon session at YOM.

For the past eight years Dr. Jacklyn Nogan, a Levittown chiropractor, has been serving as one of Santa's helpers by collecting toys and delivering them to children at Yours Ours Mine (YOM) Community Center.

On Monday, Santa and Dr. Nogan brought smiles to the faces of the children, ranging in age from 3-11 years old, at YOM. In the morning they delivered the gifts to the nursery school children and in the afternoon they made their deliveries to children in kindergarten through fifth grade. It was a celebration, not just of Christmas, but of all the holidays that fall at this time of the year.

This year Santa had help, not only from Dr. Nogan but from Levittown Kiwanis members who helped Nogan wrap all the gifts.

When asked why she does this every year, Nogan responded, "We like to take care of the children in our town. YOM is a great place that children can go and this is one way to bring something into their lives."

Roxane Boneillo, a YOM employee who helped Santa Claus and Nogan distribute the gifts, commented on how great it is that Nogan does this every year and how happy it makes the children.

"Everyone deserves a little happiness," concluded Nogan. "I love to see them smile."
