The Levittown Chamber of Commerce's Annual Networking Party, held at the Luxe on Hempstead Turnpike, was an opportunity for people from the different businesses in the community to meet and mingle and get to know a little bit more about what the chamber of commerce has to offer.

A Community to be Thankful For
Demonstrating the true community spirit that is often associated with Levittown, several different groups within the community came together to celebrate Thanksgiving a little bit early this year at the Levittown Fire Department's 15th annual Thanksgiving Dinner for Senior Citizens.

Red Devils Football
On the season's final week, Midget Black, with a record of 9-0, played North Babylon, who emerge undefeated. Unfortunately for Midget Black it was North Babylon who emerged with the victory, 25-12. The game was closer than the score suggests. Each team held the other on downs on three separate occasions. The deciding factors of the game for North Babylon were a 60-yard running play for a touchdown, a punt return to the Levittown 2, and a blocked punt which North Babylon recovered at the Levittown 15 yard line. Even with great field position like this, North Babylon had to work hard to score.

Levittown Sports Spotlight
Melissa and Paula Guglielmi are the first set of twins to be named to the athletic spotlight for MacArthur High School since the award began three years ago. Their high school careers run very parallel both academically and athletically. Usually where you see one, you will see the other. This is particularly true when athletics are involved. Paula and Melissa have both been members of the varsity badminton and tennis teams since the ninth grade, Paula bowls during the winter season and Melissa takes the winter off.
