Pictured here are: Frank Higgins with Coach Ed Garcia and Referee Eric Carroll and the Spring League All-Stars. There were two exciting games held on July 3 to conclude the season.

Every spring, Frank Higgins has coordinated the Spring League for boys going into eighth, ninth and 10th grades. The purpose is to give all players a chance to improve their game and have fun in a competitive environment. There were enough players signed up to establish a five-team league. League play ended in late June and the season concluded with two All-Star games on July 3.

In addition to the spring league, Frank Higgins is the coordinator for both the boys and girls sixth/seventh grade intramural divisions during the season, as well as the coach for the seventh-grade boys "B" travel team. It is that kind of commitment and volunteerism that sets Frank Higgins apart from most people. The kids and parents of St. Bernard's Youth Basketball know all too well what Higgins means to the program. His "kids first" attitude is a great example of what this program is all about.
