It was a fun day, and everyone had a great time.
At the end of the season Awards Brunch at Antun's of Hicksville on June 25th, participation certificates and trophies were presented to the players.
A special award, "The Deene DuBeau Sportsmanship Award" is presented to a boy who demonstrates good sportsmanship, leadership and character. This year's recipient of that award was John Mirro.
Dolph Quéripel wishes to thank all who volunteered their time, energy, and knowledge, teaching and coaching the young players in the program, as well as thanking all the parents for the cooperation they gave him and the coaching staffs, without which there could not be teams and/or a program.
"With that, thanks to you all for a great 30 years. I wish Joe Carracino, your new director, the best," said Quéripel who added his thanks to the Levittown Unit for the surprise recognition at the brunch.
