Levittown resident Lindsay Kist, an interior design major at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston recently accepted the Carl A. Swanson Scholar-Athlete Award from Professor Amos St. Germain, director of student retention and special programs. Presented to Kist last month at the annual awards ceremony, the award is given to a senior athlete who has excelled academically. Kist, who has a GPA of 3.6, played on the women's basketball and soccer teams at Wentworth. She was also named the Most Valuable Player of both teams.
