What is the Kiwanis Club of Levittown all about?
Young children: Priority One
Young Children Priority One addresses the needs of children prenatal through age five.
Every club is urged to support Young Children: Priority One by:
1. Expanding its current projects to help young children.
2. Creating a partnership project for young children that involves other Kiwanis clubs and organizations that serve young children.
3. Supporting the Worldwide Service Project by learning about Iodine Deficiency Disorders and financially contributing to the efforts to eliminate this problem from the world.

This is a very special time of year for the Levittown Kiwanis Club. We are trying to raise as much money as possible. The reason is the end of the school year is approaching. That means scholarships will be given to graduating high school seniors in Levittown. Would you or your organization like to send a child to camp or sponsor a scholarship?
Please send your donation to:
Kiwanis Club of Levittown, Inc.
PO Box 152
Levittown, NY 11756
Please mark on your check what to use the funds for: Scholarship or Summer Camp or both. The more we collect, the more we can do for the young people of Levittown. Please be aware that this time every year the Levittown Kiwanis is selling their club raffle tickets. The cost if $25 and there is a drawing every month. The prizes are:
1st Prize: $100
2nd Prize: $50
3rd Prize: $25
but the December drawing is:
1st Prize: $250
2nd Prize: $100
3rd Prize: $50
Are you feeling lucky? Stop by one of our weekly meetings and buy a ticket or two. The proceeds go to scholarships and summer camp.
Are you interested in joining? Please come to one of our meetings for a "look see." I guarantee you'll be impressed.
Did you know Kiwanis has a website? For you computer hackers: check Kiwanis International Web Site at kiwanismail@kiwanis.org.
The club has been thinking of creating a Kiwanis hotline phone number. Perhaps seniors might call if they needed some transportation to a doctor. Or some may need help at home. A student may need a tutor that the family could not afford.
The hotline would be a wonderful service the Levittown Kiwanis could do for its community. As you can well imagine, we need to dramatically increase our membership in order to accomplish this goal. Would you like to help with our hotline?
One of our goals is to have 200 members by the end of the year 2000. Please help us meet our goal!
One thousand students have received a certificate for this school year. Please watch for our bumper sticker.
