William H. Pfau Jr., 78, formerly of Levittown, died on April 24, 2000 in Maryville, IL. He was born on Jan. 2, 1922 in Perth Amboy, NJ. He married Muriel A. Capaccio on May 4, 1946. Mr. Pfau was in home improvements and later worked for St. Bernard's as a superintendent of buildings for Msgr. Lawrence Ballweg for 10 years. He was active in the Little League, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, Levittown K of C and was a Scout Master for 20 years.

Mr. Pfau and his wife retired to Palm Harbor, FL, and lived there since 1993. He was also a member of the Florida Palm Harbour K of C and 4th Degree K of C in Troy, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Muriel Pfau; children, Gary R. (Susan) Pfau and Cheryl Mines (Thomas); grandchildren, Christopher Pfau, Kelly Mines and Kimberly Mines. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Pfau. Services were held at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. St. Louis, MO.
