Island Trees Sports
The Varsity Baseball team upped its record to 17 and 1 with a 17 to 8 victory over North Shore. Mike Cavalcante picked up the win in relief. Cavalcante also went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs, including a double and stolen base. Chris Mason went 2 for 2 with a league leading 4 runs scored. Greg Thomson went 4 for 4, including a grand slam over the tennis courts at the North Shore complex. Greg also had a triple and 7 RBIs. Joe Iglio went 2 for 3 with a RBI and did a fine job behind the plate.
