After a terrific pre-season, the Lady Bulldogs have hit a bumpy road.

The season-opener was a real tough one for the ladies, losing 3-2 to Glen Cove. Senior Rebecca Groy went 3 for 3 but it wasn't enough.

Next up was MacArthur at home, a 4-1 loss. Some hard work at practice was in order and another close game at Garden City, where Island Trees lost 3-2.

Next up was Sewanaka High School, where finally the losing bug was gone. The Lady Bulldogs held on to win 2-1 on the bottom of the seventh inning with a clutch single by Jessica Fredricks to score Cyndi Sheil from second base.

Bring on cross-town rival Levittown Division - a terrific game for the Lady Bulldogs. A two-hit shutout by Jamie Pietrantoni and some clutch hitting by Chrissy DeMott proved to be all the girls needed.

The Lady Bulldog's record stands at 3 wins, 3 losses. Next up are North Shore, Seaford and Mineola.
