Dunne Addresses Reassessment's Effect on Levittown
In response to the Chairman of the Board of Assessors' announcement this week that he would support the reassessment of the properties in Nassau County, Legislator Dennis Dunne has said that it is his belief, through the research he has done, that this re-evaluation of the system will help the Levittown area.

MacArthur High School Cheers to Long Island Championship
Levittown MacArthur High School cheerleaders participated in the Long Island Cheerleading Association (LICA) Championship held in Riverhead on Feb. 12. In order to qualify for the championship at Riverhead the girls had to place in at least one competition, and compete in at least two competitions. They placed in both competitions. The first one was held at Holy Trinity High School on Jan. 8, where they placed third among 11 teams. The second competition was held at Kellemberg High School on Jan. 22. They placed fourth among the top 12 teams on Long Island. Congratulations to the girls and their coach for their hard work, determination and perseverance!
