Erik Schoner, a senior at Island Trees High School, Jason DeLauro, a junior at Division Avenue High School and Sean Grubard, a senior at Wantagh High School, will all play on the Nassau County team for the 4th Annual All-Star High School Ice Hockey Tournament on Feb. 12. The game, co-sponsored by Vytra Health Plans and the New York Islanders, will be played at the Nassau Coliseum at 3 p.m., preceding the New York Islanders' game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Schoner and DeLauro will be leading defensemen for the Nassau County team, while Grubard will be serving as a leading center for the team.

The 2000 All Star Game will pit teams from Nassau and Suffolk counties in a one-game championship. The 42 players have been selected by the High School Hockey League Association of Nassau County, Inc. and the Suffolk County High School Hockey League, and include students from every school participating in the leagues.
