The 7th grade Boys' Basketball team won in convincing fashion against Packard by the score of 67-45. The Bulldogs were led by Vinny Ciaravino with 16 points, Christian Salvage and Peter Scalamandre with 12 points, Ryan Hollett with 10 points, Rob Lovaglio with six points, Tom Cipley and Russell Davis with four points each and Brian Beissel, Brian Spiess and Mike Topel with two points each. The Bulldogs have increased their record to 3-1 and will play their next game against Mattlin.

The 8th grade Boys' Basketball team played undefeated Wantagh in a barn-burner, which saw the Dawgs fall 77-62. The game was very close all the way and the Bulldogs held a one-point advantage in the fourth period. Kevin Fusci led all scorers with 16. Anthony Rinaldi pumped in 12 and Anthony DiDomenico added 11. Michael Doscher had eight, while Anthony Thompson, Bruce Davidson and Justin O'Donnell all scored four each. Rounding out the scoring with two each were T.J. Young and Kevin McGovern.

The 8th grade Boys' Basketball team utilized a ball control offense in pulling off a shocker as they stunned Mattlin 45-42 in a nail-biter. With the score tied at 37 midway through the fifth period, Mattlin was assessed a technical foul. Anthony DiDomenico calmly stepped to the charity strip and hit three of four foul shots. The Bulldogs also retained possession and banged home a huge shot to go up by five. DiDomenico led all scorers with 14 points (six of nine from the foul line) and nine rebounds. Justin O'Donnell played large with six points and great defensive pressure. Rounding out the Bulldog scoring were Bryan Singh and Anthony Thompson with four, Kevin Fusci and Bruce Davidson with three each and T.J. Young, Tom Leonick, Kevin McGovern, Anthony Rinaldi and Julian Llorente with two each, while George Fotedis added a foul shot. Defensive standouts were Peter Plaia, Mike Garger, Anthony Vecchione, Bryan Dirr, Matt Sinisi, Tom O'Reilly and Mike Doscher. The team has improved with each practice and now head into the second half of the season with new goals. Congratulations on a well-earned victory.

The Girls 8th grade Volleyball team won their first league game against Wantagh. Roula Berdebes scored 16 points and Danielle Baglivo and Lindsay Burleson played strong defense. The entire team combined for an exciting victory. The girls also won their game against Plainview in straight sets.
