This is a message to middle and high school students in the Levittown School District:
Are you looking for something to do with your friends and some place to be on Friday nights? Do you want to meet others with similar interests? The place to be on Friday nights is at Levittown Memorial Educational Center where there is a leisure time activity program from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The program is being held every week at the gym at Levittown Memorial Education Center. The following activities are being offered: basketball, football, table tennis, floor hockey, weight lifting, and for those who are not interested in sports there are also board games, electronic games, and card games. We are looking forward to incorporating movie nights, computer games, workshops and job placement opportunities. This program can be made into your program. The activities offered will be ones that you suggest. YOM is looking to offer what the students and the community wants for this program. The Levittown School District is encouraging all students to attend. This program is organized by the Levittown School District's Athletic Department and Yours Ours Mine Community Center, Inc.
If you have any suggestions for any activities, they would be welcomed. We look forward to meeting you as your participate in activities, socialize and have a good time. Come on down and join us for an evening of entertainment. There are no fees. It is a free program. The Levittown Community has always asked for teenagers to have a place to meet (not on the streets). This is the place. Please make use of it.
