Several families from the Island Trees Soccer Club spent their Labor Day Weekend at the 1999 Bob Schrager Memorial Tournament in Oceanside. Many siblings had the opportunity to sharpen their soccer skills while achieving their ultimate goals.

The Jr. Rowdies, coached by Phil Goldberg, took first place in the U-13 boys division for the second year in a row. The Shooting Stars, coached by Dennis Walsh and Ted Fabis took third place in the U-10 girls division. Also taking third place were the Sharp Shooters U-12 Girls, coached by Dorothy Topel and the Dragons U-16 Boys, coached by Jae Barea and Chris Neglia.
