The Levittown Kiwanis Club is dedicated to the following:

1.Giving primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life.

2. Encouraging the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.

3. Promoting the adoption and the application of higher social, business, and professional standards.

4. Developing by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship.

5. Providing, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships to render altruistic service and to build better communities.

6. Cooperating in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and good will.

Please remember October 27 will be the 50th Anniversary of the Levittown Kiwanis Club. Let us know if you or your organization has an outstanding fund-raising idea to help us celebrate the 50th Anniversary.

Are you interested in joining? Please come to one of the meetings for a "look see."

Would you like to help children? Then join us.

Did you know Kiwanis has a web site? For you computer hackers: check Kiwanis International Web Site at http://www/kiwania.org.

The Club has been thinking of creating a Kiwanis hotline phone number. Perhaps a senior might call if they needed some transportation to a doctor. Or someone may need some help at home. A student may need a tutor that their family could not afford. The hotline would be a wonderful service the Levittown Kiwanis could do for its community. As you can well imagine, we need to dramatically increase our membership in order to accomplish this goal. One of our goals is to have 200 members by the year 2000.

Do you have any unused food coupons from the Sunday paper? Please collect them and drop them off at one of our meetings. They are used for the Head Start Program. You can drop off your coupons any time at the Salty Dog Restaurant (address and phone number listed below) or you can mail them to the Levittown Kiwanis Club.
