The Levittown Soccer Club Girl's U14 Travel Team had a very successful year. Their accomplishments come from hard work, skill, and determination. They won second place in the East Meadow Tournament, and they won second place and sportsmanship in the Waldbaum's Challenge Cup (only after losing in a shootout). The Levittown Swim Association will hold its 44th Championship Meet on Sunday Aug. 15 at Jerusalem Avenue Pool, on Jerusalem Avenue, just north of Hempstead Turnpike. Over 400 children from the Town of Hempstead and the Town of Oyster Bay Joint Pool District will compete in 56 different swimming events. The Championship will culminate with the awarding of trophies, medals, and ribbons to participants who have distinguished themselves during this meet and the swim season. FULL STORY
