After winning their opening game in the County Tournament against North Shore, Division lost to Garden City 3-2. Despite losing, Division outhit Garden City 7-6. Of Garden City's six hits three were infield hits all in the same inning.

In round three Division played Great Neck South. The Dragons beat them 10-3. PJ Antoniato was the winning pitcher, allowing Great Neck three hits, while striking out five batters. Joe Woods led the Division attack with three hits, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Kevin Saragossi had two RBIs and Alex Muniz scored two runs.

In round four Division had the opportunity to face Garden City again. The Dragons found themselves down 7-0 after only two innings. Division worked their way back to 7-2 as PJ Antoniato scored twice sacrifice flies by Joe Laudisio and Kevin Saragossi. In the bottom of the sixth the Dragons scored six runs when Kevin Schneider, Dan Cronin, and Steve Juliano all came up with big hits for Division. Garden City contributed to the Division rally that inning when they made four errors in the inning. PJ Antoniato and Steve Juliano both led the Dragons with two hits apiece. Steve Juliano made one of the best defensive plays in years when he dove behind third to snare a hot grounder and jump up to throw out the speedy All County Football and Baseball player John Maloney to end Garden City's seventh inning. Ryan Darcy got the win going the distance. Darcy found himself down early but never lost his composure. He allowed only one hit after the second inning while striking out 11 batters. With this win Division earned the opportunity to play Garden City again to see who would make it to the County Championship game.

In the fourth game of the week, Division found themselves down early due to some very weak infield defensive play. Dan Cronin pitched a great game after losing to Garden City earlier in the week. Once again Division was behind until the fifth inning when Steve Juliano came up big again. The Dragons were behind 4-3 with two outs when Juliano successfully stole home for the Blue Dragons. Division took a 4-4 tie into the sixth when Dan Cronin hit his third single of the game. After reaching first Cronin stole second for his third steal of the game. At this point sophomore Darren Barlow went in to pinch run for Cronin. On the first pitch Barlow advanced to third on a wild pitch. Joe Woods was the batter working the count 2-2 when he hit a long sacrifice fly to score Barlow for the winning run.

With this win Division advances to the County Championship series for the sixth straight year and the 10th time in the last 11 years. Division will play Wantagh in a repeat matchup of last year's county championship.
