Division Rams Clarke
Thursday of last week, Division played the very strong Clarke Rams, who had saved their number one pitcher for game three of the week. The Dragons won the game with a score of 8-2. Sophomore PJ Antoniato was the winning pitcher with some relief help from Ryan Darcy. Antoniato and Darcy scattered six hits while striking out seven batters en route to the victory.
Joe Woods got Division on the board in the first inning, knocking in Dan Cronin, who tripled on the first pitch of the game. In the fourth inning, Division led 3-2, when junior Kevin Schneider hit a two-run homer to give Antoniato the insurance runs he needed to gain the win. Cronin, Laudisio, and Fierro all had two hits to pace the Dragons.
The unsung hero of the game was Eric Lineman, who played a stellar third base, making major contributions to the Division victory.
