The wrestling team bounced back from a loss to Wantagh with a stunning 67-34 victory over Island Park. Leading the way with pins were Rob Bischoff, Thomas Murphy, Matt Anderson, Paul Wigdzinski, Paul DePasquale, Adam Macaluso, Matt Fiorello, Cory Owen, Anthony Vecchione and Peter McAllister. Both Jimmy Scrimo and Matt Lorenzini won by decision.

The seventh grade Girls Basketball team defeated cross-town rivals Bethpage with a score of 25-16. High scorers were Alyssa Fleming, Lisa LoFaso, and Danielle Baglivo, with six points each. Other scorers were Rachel LoGatto, Lisa Provenzano and Kerianne Spiess. Great games were turned in by Fleming, LoFaso, Rachel LoGatto, Gina Lippert, Lindsay Burleson, Shannon McAdam, Jackie Mullervy, Melissa Ritz, Kate Ludewig, Kate Schamberger, Dana LaCorte, Stephanie Caminiti, Nikki Pena, Lisa Provenzano, Stephanie Farag, Keri Spiess, Danielle Baglivo, and Angela Megliola.

The girls eighth grade Basketball team, in spectacular form, shut down the Golden Eagles of Bethpage with a score of 36-23. Led by Jen D'Albenzio, who with nine points slashed through the Eagle's defense and destroyed their attempt at a pressure defense. Contributing six points each were Chelsea Marciano and Rebecca Santoriello. Erin Carroll had a huge game on the boards, while adding five points. Using their blazing speed, Candace Grosser and Jamie Zetterberg broke away for four points and countless steals. Jessica Marciano rounded out the scoring with a bucket. Outstanding defensive games by Christina Solis, Najareet Barajas, Jackie Wilson, Jen Grella, Teresa Grassi, Allison McVeigh, Angela Wong, Danielle Kellner, Molly Saffrey, and Corinne Vinberg. This was a fantastic team victory. Great job girls.
