Robert M. Lombardi, 41, of Levittown, died on Jan. 5, 1999. Husband of Lorraine. Father of Nicholas and Michael. Son of Robert and Margaret. Brother of Joann DeMarco. Arrangements were made by the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, Hicksville. Religious service at St. Bernard's RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.

Charles J. Doyle, 62, formerly of Levittown, died on Jan. 6, 1999. US Air Force Korean War veteran. Father of Charles Jr., William and Colleen Classen. Grandfather of Sara, Jaqeulyn, Ryan and Kayla. Son of Kathleen. Brother of Patricia Wilen. Arrangements were made by the Commack Abbey. Funeral Mass at St. Matthew's RC Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.

Harold Abbott, 87, of Port St. Lucie, FL, died on Jan. 11, 1999 in Fort Pierce, FL. A native of New York, NY, he moved to Port St. Lucie 23 years ago from Levittown. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a sales manager with Meenan Oil Company of LI. In Levittown, he was a former member of the school board, was very active in the Girls Scouts of America, attended the First Presbyterian Church of Levittown, had a Little Stadium named in his honor in recognition of his civic activities and was named the Exchange Club "Man of the Year." In Port St. Lucie, he was a member of the Spanish Lakes #1 Homeowners Association and he was an avid golfer. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Gloria J. Abbot of Port St. Lucie; two daughters, Nancy Rotolo of Port St. Lucie and Susan Debling of Victoria, BC, Canada; and a granddaughter, Nina Simosko of San Francisco. Arrangements were made by the Roger L. Byrd Port St. Lucie Funeral Home. Memorial services were celebrated with Rev. James E. Nimmo, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Port St. Lucie, officiating. Donations can be made to the National Alzheimer's Association, 919 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1000, Chicago, IL 60611-9501.
