We would like to say, "Thank you," to so many people for the wonderfully successful July 27th benefit for PAWS (Pioneers for Animal Welfare, Inc.), an all-volunteer organization that provides a low-cost Spay/Neuter program, Humane Education in schools, a Meals on Wheels program, unique in the U.S., delivering pet food to the elderly, Pic-a-Pet days at the local shelters and various other programs to benefit animals and the community.

This is the sixth year that Governor's Comedy Cabaret of Levittown has generously hosted this event for PAWS. We thank Governor's manager, Jimmy Finn and his staff for their graciousness.

We especially thank John Joseph who has found time in his busy schedule as an entertainer to emcee this event every year, for the past nine years, adding his unique nationally acclaimed comedy routine to the show.

Many, many thanks to the five comedians who volunteered their exceptional talents to make this evening such a success. Thank you Howard Jacobson, Tim Gage, Steve Lazarus, Jason B. Plawner (J.Jay Boyd), and Rich Walker. You are as caring and generous as you are talented.

Last, but not least, thank you to the audience who filled Governor's without a single seat to spare to raise funds for PAWS.

Thank you all for helping us to help the animals who have no voice.
