Kiwanis Nassau Divisions Play for Kids
Softball teams made up from members of Kiwanis Clubs in Nassau County will play two games July 10 and Aug. 21 that will benefit Kamp Kiwanis. Peter J. Owens, Lt. Governor of the Long Island North, David Rothman, Lt. Governor of the Long Island South Central Division, and Rick Levine, Lt. Governor of the Long Island Southwest Division of Kiwanis International have joined together to raise money for capital improvements at Kamp Kiwanis, a sleep-away camp for disadvantaged girls and boys ages eight to 14 located in upstate Taberg about six miles northwest of Rome, New York.
