Senior Sharon Rosen currently plays second doubles on the Varsity Badminton Team. She is also a member of the Varsity Tennis Team. Rosen ranks 17th in her class, with a GPA of 97 and 1200 on her SATs. She has also been on the honor and high honor roll every year since sixth grade.
Rosen has received numerous honors and awards, including a Certificate of Accomplishment from Learn and Serve America, first place in the 1997 Good Deed Awards, and a Certificate of Nomination from the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine.
Rosen is an extremely involved young woman, both in school and in her community. Her school activities include the National and Tri-M Music Honor Society, Learn and Serve America, Key Club, Together United, S.A.D.D., and the school newspaper. She is a tutor for the Honor Society, a coordinator for Human Relations Day, and interns in the Career Development program. Rosen believes community involvement is a key element in her education. She is a volunteer for the Special Olympics, a religion teacher, and a coordinator for fund raising for the following groups; Leukemia Association, Ronald McDonald House, Food and Nutrition Organization, and the Oklahoma City bombing victims.
Rosen will be a valued member of the Binghamton College community and her experiences both in school and in her community will be an excellent background for her studies in Psychology.
