Division opened up the Carey series with a commanding 11-0 victory. Chris Flinn got the win with a no-hitter in which he struck out 19 batters. Flinn allowed only one fair ball in the game, a ground out to Steve Juliano.

Eric Lineman got Division on the board with a triple run homer in the third inning. Other big hitters were Jason Schneider, with two doubles and four runs batted in, Bob Passabile, with two hits and two RBIs, Joe Laudisio with two hits and two runs scored, and Joe Woods chipped in with an RBI hit.

In the second game of the series, Division beat Carey 15-0 behind the one-hit pitching of Mike Pelcher. Pelcher struck out 19 batters en route to his victory.

Division's offense was led by Steve Oliver, who hit a first inning three-run homer. Oliver finished the day with three hits, three runs scored, and five runs batted in. Steve Juliano also had a big day with three hits, two runs scored, and three runs batted in.

Kevin Martin and Joe Woods both had two hits with an RBI.

In game three, Division won 14-1 to earn the sweep of the series. Ryan Darcy was the winning pitcher, allowing only three hits with one walk while striking out 10 batters.

The Division offense was paced by Kevin Martin who had two hits and four runs batted in. Steve Juliano added a double and a two-run homer, while Joe Laudisio added a three-run homer.

This week Division has only one game against Westbury while it gears up for a big series against Garden City.
