The Island Trees/Landmark Grill athletes of this week are Jamie Pietrantoni and Ray Due.

Pietrantoni, a pitcher for the Lady Bulldogs, pitched a one hitter and two no hitters last week. She struck out a total of 28 batters in those three games. The softball team won all three games with scores of 1-0, 3-0, and 2-0 behind her remarkable pitching.

Due, the center fielder on the Bulldogs Baseball team, went 2 for 3 against Glen Cove and led the team to a 5-2 victory. Due's 2-run homer and 2-run single accounted for 4 of the team's 5 runs.

Pietrantoni and Due will each receive dinner for two at the Landmark Grill.

Congratulations to these two outstanding athletes.
