For many years the East Meadow V.F.W. Post 2736 has been awarding several scholarships to outstanding East Meadow High School students, who are children of veterans chosen by a combination of academic achievement and community involvement programs.

This year, as last year, we have expanded our scholarship program to include W. Tresper Clarke High School, which is also in the East Meadow School District. A total of four grants will be awarded, two to each school.

As in past years, we will raise funds for this program through a curb painting program, wherein students will paint house numbers on the curb in front of your home. We ask that you kindly reward their efforts with your check made payable to East Meadow VFW Post 2736. Your donation is tax deductible and the curb markings help emergency services such as police, fire, and ambulance crews to readily identify your house.
