Kelly Maher

Kelly Maher has been a cheerleader since ninth grade for both football and basketball seasons. She also manages to work a part-time job while maintaining a 94 average. Besides being a superb athlete, she is academically strong and very involved in school activities. A few of the activities that she has been involved in are: Class secretary, four years; school newspaper, four years; Key Club, Homecoming and Spirit Week activities; fund raisers; and prom committees. Maher was a Princess for Homecoming 1997. Her most recent accomplishment was winning the Newsday stock market game in her business class, competing against over 400 other teams in the metropolitan area.

Maher is applying to several universities, but her first choice is the University of Delaware where she plans to major in education and minor in business.

She has always been an important part of the cheerleading program at Division Avenue High School and she will be greatly missed next year.
