The Girls White Basketball team engaged in a wild game against Bethpage on the Golden Eagles home court. In their finest outing of the year, the girls were again lead by Captain Jodie Schoppmann who dazzled the capacity crowd with power drives down the lane and several pull-up jumpers which garnered her game high honors with 12 points. Dust off the cape folks. On the same floor that created Super Norberto, another super performance was turned in by Elena O'Brien who ripped down 7 rebounds and scored a career high 11 points. Ashley Tonno had her best game of the year with an 8 point, 4 rebound effort, while Christina Demott wrapped up her Middle School career with 3 points. Christina will be moving on to JV Softball. Good luck, you will be missed. Outstanding point guard play by both Chelsea and Jessica Marciano who assisted on 5 baskets each, as they continue to impress. Hard fought efforts by both Jodie Rose and Rebecca Santoriello were key to the Lady Dawgs staying in this one down to the wire. This was certainly one to build on girls.
Congratulations Wrestlers! The Wrestling team started their season with a 40-35 victory over Wantagh. A great team effort as well as individual victories by Rem Kilfoil, Matt Lorenzini, Paul DePasquale, Steve Squitieri, Jimmy Lyons and Matt Fiorello all helped secure the win.
