Division Avenue High School's new kickline has had a busy first four months of existence.

MEMBERS OF DIVISION'S new kickline warm up the crowd before the recent Division-Wisdom Lane faculty basketball game.

The kickline, coached by Veronica Price and Elizabeth Thompson, started its work for the current school year this summer, when some team members attended two dance camps at Hofstra University. They won awards there for their showmanship, technique and spirit.

That set the stage for the Division kickline's first public appearance on Oct. 19, when they joined several Division Avenue units in Levittown's 50th anniversary parade. The kickline's first performance came at the Blue Dragons-Great Neck South football game Nov. 3, the team's last home football game of the season.

The kicking Dragons also warmed up the crowd with a routine at the annual faculty basketball game between the faculties of Division and Wisdom Lane Middle School.

A group of Division kickline members performed with the National Cheerleader/Danz Association at the Meadowlands during halftime of the New York Jets game on Nov. 23. The team will also perform for Blue Dragons basketball games and other competitions.
