Merillon U8 Blue Sharks vs. Albertson/Herricks

The Sharks rolled to their third consecutive victory with another great game that was won by the score of 5-0. Five different pitchers combined for a 2 hit shutout. Way to go Siva, Jackson, Ryan, Ben and Sam. The offense was led by Ryan Wasserman who was 3 for 3 with an RBI. Also contributing on offense was Franco Dimilta 1 for 2 with an RBI and Jackson Benjamin, 1 for 2 with and RBI. There were many great plays in the field to preserve the shutout. Go Sharks!

Merillon U8 Blue Sharks vs. East Williston # 2

The Sharks came away with their 4th straight victory of the season by the score of 9-1. Five pitchers combined for only 4 hits and one run while striking out 11. Way to go Siva, Franco, Kenny, Jackson, and Ryan W. The offense was led by Kenny Hirschfeld who was 3 for 3 with an RBI and Sam Motelson who hit a 3 run home run. Also contributing on offense was Jackson Benjamin, 2 for 4 with an RBI, Demetris Panouis, 2 for 4, Ryan Wasserman 2 for 4, Siva Paturi 2 for 3 with an RBI. There were many great plays in the field with 2 great catches in the outfield by Siva and Sam. It was a great all around team effort. Go Sharks!
