For the second year in a row, the Herricks Homecoming was held at the back end parking lot of the Herricks Community Center. The celebration held “something for everyone” including the students in the lower grades with a repeat of all several bouncy castles.
Instead of floats, the various classes made banners and displayed them on the stage at various times during the festivities.
The entire football team was present as were the cheerleaders and the Royal Court of King and Queen candidates that were announced at the dance. Those chosen were Dan Tradrus and Meena You.
The game was played, under the lights, at Tully Field and although the Herricks team lost and it was a close game only overcome by two touchdowns, that did not deter the school spirit that was present throughout the entire afternoon and evening at the game itself.
