It is about time that someone independent of the current mayor and former judge came out to run for mayor to represent all of the residents. That candidate is Paul Ehrbar. I have known Paul for over 30 years and I am amazed at his numerous endeavors in support of the community he lives in.
My first experience with Paul Ehrbar was when he coached our sons who played Williston Park Little League and St. Aidan’s CYO soccer for over seven years. He has held the positions of president of the Herricks Board of Education and is presently a member of the board when he was appointed to fulfill Mr. Dunn’s term. He is also the president of the Herricks Community Fund.
Paul Ehrbar has detailed a plan and has the experience in municipal government and finances to guide us in the future. He wants to strengthen communication between government and residents, partner with our local legislatures and work in a timely manner to secure and utilize grants, revitalize the Neighborhood Watch Program, restore the Beautification Committee and revive community service, revise our codes to reflect our responsibilities to our residents, and implement a responsible capital plan.
His dedication, honesty, experience and success will bring order and fiscal responsibility to the village and put us on the right track for the future. Please join my wife Kathy and me on March 16 and vote for Paul Ehrbar for the position of mayor of the Village of Williston Park.
