Robert W. Krachenfels Jr. died suddenly on July 16, 2009 at the age of 51. Loving son of the late Rosemary and Robert. Devoted grandson of Margaret Nadon. Cherished brother of Annmarie, John, Joan (Peter), Anthony, Mary and David (Sue). Beloved uncle of 14 nieces and nephews. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Floral Park. Kenneth A. Brooker, 69, of Lincoln, NE, died on July 6, 2009. He was born in Astoria, NY, on Oct. 27, 1939 to George and Rita (Dougherty) Brooker. Kenny was a U.S. Marine veteran, member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Leslie Brooker of Lincoln; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth W. and Maria Brooker of New Hyde Park; grandchildren, Lindsey, Brandon, Audrey and Hailey; brother and sister-in-law, Gerard and Sheila Brooker of Bethel, CT; sister: Eileen Olm of Dingmans Ferry, PA; brother-in-law Jim Stauffer of Lincoln; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, Wallace, Joan and Robert.

Thomas Maher was a caring, patient, and friendly guidance counselor who began working as the department chairperson for New Hyde Park Memorial High School’s Pupil Personnel Services in 2001.
At 92, Marion “Tess” Teslik was an independent, quick-witted, working woman with a flair for fashion.
Growing up in Jamaica, Queens, Ms. Teslik attended finishing school after her high school days and later enrolled at Fordham University.
She attended three years of college before meeting her husband, Alexander, Jr., while on a train traveling between New York and Connecticut. They later married and Ms. Teslik, an only child, went on to have three children, Alexander, Steven and Melanie.
Marylin C. Donovan, of New Hyde Park, died on June 26, 2009. Wife of Richard. Mother of Michael, Kenny (the late Patty), Billy (Stella), Ricky (Ann) and Matty (Cathy). Grandmother of 12. Sister of Irene (Frank), George and the late Rosemarie. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, New Hyde Park. Funeral Mass was held June 19 at Notre Dame RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
