The Dad’s Club at New Hyde Park Memorial High School recently held a fundraising event at the Governor’s Comedy Club of Levittown. The comedian’s showed the club a good time, especially Mick Thomas and Chris Roach.
“Michael Horan ran the event and did a great job in putting it together,” said Richard Schlueck, Dad’s Club president.
The club raised $1,208, selling $900 in tickets and $308 of 50/50 raffles. Sal, a Dad’s Club member, won the raffle of $154 and donated the money back to the club. The money will be used for scholarships, awards and programs at the school.
