AC Milan has teamed up with an International Soccer Training Exchange Program (ISTEP) to bring its 2013 Junior Camp to North Hempstead. The camp accepts ages 8-15 and runs from June 23 to 29, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Michael Tully Park stadium in New Hyde Park.
Camp trainers are AC Milan/Union of European Football Association (UEFA)-certified coming directly from Italy. Camp participants may be selected to participate in the worldwide AC Milan Junior Camp tournament taking place in Milan in the fall. Boy Scout Troop 298 will hold a car wash fundraiser on June 29. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the municipal parking lot on the corner of Jericho Turnpike and Lakeville Road. Scouts will wash your vehicles.

The Village of New Hyde Park will hold its Summer Concert Series from July 10-Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. in Memorial Park on Lincoln Avenue, west of New Hyde Park Road between William and Albert Streets. All shows are free and open to all.
