Tigersharks vs. Bengals - On a cold and windy day, the Tigersharks began the Spring season versus the Bengals. The Tigersharks are a talented group and they showed some good soccer skills in their first game. New comers Kostas Katsoulis and Frankie Palmeri played very well. Frankie had the play of the game with a spectacular diving save on a penalty kick. Nicolas Demaria, Philip Chang, and Dominick Piccirillo powered the Tigershark attack with energy, passing and ball control. Jeremy Barrios demonstrated excellent anticipation and toughness on defense. Kameron Farhadi was terrific on both ends of the field. Dylan Singh continues to elevate his game every season and is becoming a force on the field. All the boys played hard and their fans and families were treated to an exciting and hard fought match. Good job Tigersharks!!!
The Lady Tigers starting this season with a great game ending in a tie. Theodora Papadoniou came out strong dribbling through everyone and scoring our first goal. She then assisted with the second by throwing the ball in over the defense where Natalie Kariotis took the ball on a breakaway goal just passed the charging goalie. Camryn Dluginski and Stephanie Karczewski played awesome defense turning away many attacks. Alyssa Garcia, Marcela Curcio, and Meagan Dauble made some incredible runs on offense. Ciara Gallagher and Rebecca Olivari made some fantastic saves in goal. Great job!
