Ace Hardware "Cardinals" Vs. Stutzmann Funeral Home "Angels"

Another great outing for the mighty Cardinals who displayed power pitching and patience at the plate against a strong Angel's team this evening. Pitching stars Thomas Mangin (4 strikeouts) and Anthony Pitre (5 strikeouts) were dominant on the mound while the offense was led by Jared Hodes who hit a double, stole a base and scored a run. Michael Mellone drove in 2 runs on a single while Jake Leventhal & Scott Schanter each drove in a run and scored a run. Leading the way on defense were Ryan Hodes who made an impressive play in the infield with a force out at second base, Lance Montalbano who did a solid job behind the plate at catcher, and Alessandro Lacerra who flashed the leather in the infield.

City Line Florist "Blue Jays" Vs Ridgewood Savings Bank "Reds"

Louis Plomitallo led the Blue Jays back to tie the Reds in the 5th inning (a game the Reds won) with his 2 hits and 3 RBIs. Others with big hits were Michael Lynch, Jack Briamonte and Vincent Rossello. Matt O'Connor was hit by pitch and stole a base, Tyler Baron and Brandon Malhorta were walked, Josh Putter walked 2 times and stole 3 bases and Matthew Bateman hit the ball hard for the Blue Jays. The pitchers did nice work led by Joe Joe Del Giorno and Greg Donovan, as did the defense led by catcher Fran Labita and infielder Brian Park.

Vs All County Business Solutions "Ducks"

River Sharks were down by 1 run when the game was called in the 5th inning (due to darkness). The offense was led by James Messina, Brian Haug, Joseph Pagan & Ross Crames. HR by Ross Crames put us in an early lead. Stolen bases by Joseph P & James M contributed to our runs scored. Nice pitching by Justin DiDonato & Brian Haug. Frankie Suppa did a great job catching. Ethan was a star in the field. James Colgan, Giovanni Castelli & Maxwell Nettler all made nice plays in the field.

Vs. Virgilio Chiropractic "River Sharks" 2

The River Sharks quickly bit into the Ducks by scoring 2 runs in the 1st inning. Starting on the hill for the Ducks, Adeel Bari found his grove, and pitched 2 great innings, allowing no further runs. Justin Marder pitched 2 scoreless innings, with Ben Lee, also allowing no runs, to close out the game. Behind the plate, Evan Clark and Mike Kemmet gave solid performances. Defensively, the Ducks were solid with great plays by Matt Chaleff, Brett Dieber, Ethan Volk, Justin Roth, Mike Lopez, Thomas Kemmet & Adeel Bari. Offensively, Brett Dieber, Ethan Volk, Ben Lee, Justin Roth, Mike Lopez, Justin Marder, Tom Kemmet, Mike Kemmet, Adeel Bari, & Matt Chaleff combined a series of hits, walks, rbi's, and stolen bases to scratch out 2 runs against tough River Sharks pitching. Evan Clark laid down a perfect bunt for a single that knocked in the winning run.

Vs. Bagels & Whole Lot More "Bears" 4

The Cyclones' Giuseppe LoDuca, Peter Dunn, Brandon Martinez, Matt Theodorpoulos, Nick Winkhart & Jeff Gordon all scored in the 2nd inning thanks to their patience at the plate and timely hitting. Tyler Ng played solid defense. Jon Cioffi was the starting pitcher and had 4 strike outs and gave up no earn runs and John Young stopped the Bears comeback attempt by striking out the only and final 4 batters he faced in a game called on account of darkness.
