Travel Division Boys U 13
NHP Cougars 0 vs Cold Spring Harbor Sackers 2

In their debut as the newly formed New Hyde Park Cougars, the boys came together and played with heart and soul. Despite the rain and muddy field as well as being short-manned in the first half, the Cougars kept even going into halftime with a 0-0 score against the Cold Spring Harbor Sackers. Stepping up to play goalie was Christian Hildago. On the defensive end were Michael Zornberg, Rohit Basu, Scott LaMarca, and Lorenzo Ugarte. Leading the team in midfield was Matthew Sartoris who was everywhere where the ball was. Great job Matthew, Steve Sumba, Dominick Rossi, and Anthony DiMarco! Staying on the top end to run the offense were Rinki Hirabayashi and Keita Wantanabe. Making it to the second half and commanding the goalie position was Yovan Kumar. As the Cougars played their first game together, the coaches and parents could not have asked for a better game. It was a tough 2-0 loss but the boys played with big heart. Great game boys!

Kitkats vs Plainedge Hotshot - Ktkats Win First Game of the Regular Season

Brittany Apuzza scored her first career goal and Gaby Berger had her first career hat trick as the Kitkats outscored the Plainedge hotshots 4-2. The Kitkats showed how much they have improved by handily defeating a team they tied two seasons. Sarahelena Barrios and Hannah Werner excelled as they shared goaltending and on field duties. Catherine Saketos, Catherine Lyons, Daniela Macedo and Gabriella Santoli were instrumental in pushing the Kitkats forward. Stephanie Klar and Tara Sirotkin controlled the midfield with skill and hustle. Laura Roantreee, Katya Keblish, Annie Werner and Ashley Vicente were unbeatable as outside defenders. The Kitkats are seeing the results of their hard work pay off. The Kitkats fans are excited about what this season will bring our favorite female feline soccer players. Logo
