North Hempstead Town, Once Again, Postpones Flow Control Vote
At the last North Hempstead Town Board Meeting the Flow Control vote was the first item on the agenda. This law would require that all villages transport their garbage to the North Hempstead Transfer Station located on West Shore Road in Port Washington for a fee set by the town.

Denton Avenue students presented their "Pinwheels for Peace" project at the recent Herricks School Board meeting. The school's project is part of a national event that takes place every year on International Day of Peace.

The Brave's Defense was led by Jordan Seidenberg who made 2 outstanding plays in the field today. Jake Blancher was great on defense as well. Eric Madenberg was on his game as well with 3 nice plays two of which were at home plate to get 2 runners out.

New Hyde Park Wildcats Roundup
The New Hyde Park Wildcats TOPSoccer Program hosted their 11th annual tournament and it was another huge success. TOPSoccer programs from all over Long Island descended upon the seven fields at the Denton Avenue school last Saturday for a fun-filled morning of soccer.
