Hofstra University Continuing Education offers Saturday Classes for Young People for children ages 3-18 including Beginning and Intermediate/Advanced Swimming plus 75 classes in academics, athletics, the arts, and test preparation, including such classes as Math Made Easy, Video Game Design and Calling All Writers.
New courses this fall include Playwriting Workshop, Environmental Studies, Computer Music Composition and Sound Design, and Advanced Cartoon Sculpture.
Also available on Saturday mornings are the Hofstra Gifted Academy for students in grades K-8 and the Hofstra REACH program designed to benefit students age 8-18 with Autism Spectrum Disorder. There is also a new, no-cost program for parents that includes guest speakers.
Classes begin October 4. Discounts are available for Hofstra full time employees and Alumni.
