NHP U7 Girls take 3rd PLACE

On June 7th, the NHP Dollz U7 Girls participated in the Kick -it 3v3 soccer tournament in Jericho. Not only did they take 3rd place, they took 3rd place in the U8 bracket with temperature soaring in the upper 90's.

First game they beat Kings Park 12-1with great defense from Logan Ward and Irene Tsahas. Giselle Correia lit up the score board with 5 goals, Irene with 3 goals and Logan with Marina Pappas had an equal 2 goals.

Second game was played against Manhasset Five Star Blue which were Memorial Day Champions in Commack in which they won 7-4. Giselle with 4 goals, Marina with 2 and Irene with 1. Logan Ward again incredible on defense, stopping the 2008 Memorial Day and Independence Cup Champs.

The tired U7 girls lost to a very strong Sound Beach squad in the 3rd game. The 2 goals from Logan and 1 from Giselle was not enough to defeat the strongest team ,and Champs in the U8 bracket.

The forth game was played against a well rested Manhasset Five Star White in which the Dollz lost 6-4. Giselle with 2 goals, both Logan and Marina with 1 goal each.

Last game was forfeited by their very own Jericho team.

I am very proud of these Dollz. They play their hearts out and left it all on the field. Next Stop, Regional Finals in York, PA.
